WHAT'S NEW?
10/08/18
Hi, I moved with my girl friend recently. Both in a new appartment and studio. That slowed me to up date this web site a little bit. But I am back in force now. I got the gustin transcendence, inspiration and wile. Don't worry. The planets are perfectly aligned in symbiosis. Love gives me tenderness, sensibility and strength.
Times with Dr. S3 Archambault are done, for a certain moment. But so many good memories come to me when I think about it, even though our first year was a total fuc$%#&?ing trashed mess. But what a fun one! I am not getting into details for dignity sake. Close friends know what I am talking about. Ha. That guy gave me half the prescious contacts needed for making $$ out of my art, plus an essential base in graphic design. Max moves in China for a certain time with his girl friend Arianne. Have a good trip big boy (I don't mean "fat" by "big", it's an expression). God speed you both! You leave as scouts, but you'll come back as heroes. See you soon!
Here is a little interview of me (in french) taking place at le FIMA this summer. I could not stop scratching my arm on this one. I guess it was itchy.
I decided to continue rising 10% of the prints sales for charities. I'll let you know how much I have risen when I am done with it later on this next fall.
Bye fellows.

Hell-o. I am extremely pleased to announce you that my super duper new posters and screen prints are now on sell!! GO CHECK THEM HERE! ...orTHERE, on the little web catalog. I have worked hard on this. Anybody willing to buy any of it may contact me directly by e-mail or get them securely and simply with PayPal in the "store" section of the site. For the next two months, 10% of the sales will go to Green Peace and le Club des petits déjeuners du Québec. I have been supporting those people since a little while, and continuing doing so makes me feel good, what can I say. Even if my share of help is so freaking little, that makes me get the only drive I need to continue painting without wanting to hara-kiri myself with my brushes everyday. This being said, a receipt with the amount of the donation will be posted on this site in two months.
I am part of a collective show at le Centre culturel Jacques-Ferron from February 19th to 28th 2010. My new posters and screen prints are there. Info here.
Thank you in advance!! I GIVE YOU A WARM HUG OF LOVE AND GREATFULLNESS!! Enjoy!

Hello, I just can't wait to show you my new production of puzzles. But I am not done yet, not at all in fact. I am busy like hell. There is this thing I am working on right now that busts all my valuable time actually. I am producing screen prints to be precise, which is really refreshing, and salutary. Why salutary? Because I see it as a way to democratize my art and give it a wider access to the average normal guy, I mean you. :)
Here are some pictures of my screen prints experience at l'Atelier de l'ïle : picture 1, picture 2, picture 3, picture 4, picture 5.
Here is another picture of a Mr. Gustin paste that has been taken in Montreal by photograph Empay. Shout out!
Here is a little video of me working on a new puzzle.
Merry Christmas everybody, kiss your moms in my name. Bye!! xx

Hey! Here are the dressers I have painted for Monde Ruelle last month: 1) Contes urbains (in collaboration with S3), 2) Great Heron dresser (in solo).
This is an album cover I have designed for the release of G. O'Brien's My Rice Krispies Are Talking To Me DJ set. It is kind of an old school more cartoonish Peet Massé style picture. I have got a lot of fun doing it.
I am just about to release a series of silk screen prints, as I mentioned about 3 months ago... but now it is really happening. Can't wait.
Look what I have found here on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, Mtl. It's invading, ...for the good.
Spiritually yours, Peet + Mr. Gustin.

Hello peeps, I suggest you to pass by the Monde Ruelle gallery sometimes soon. I have two painted furniture on sell there. One is a collaboration with Max Archambault, the other is a solo work. The show runs on until November. Info here!
Also, one of my broken skateboards is exhibited at la SODAC for a collective show. The event resembles 3 collections of art collectors. It is very eclectic. Pieces of great established and rising artists are shown altogether. works from Jérôme Fortin, Dominique Blain and Marc Séguin are proposed, like next to a Peet Massé skate!. What? I know, I can't believe it myself. I can die now. I am trying to stay the more objective as I can as I am writing those words, but may I tell you I am kinda greatly/freakly thrilled by this!! Thanks life.
Info here!
Here is a general idea of a new puzzle in the work, part of my new series. Max took the picture, if it wasn't because of him, you would not see any of this. I think I might fortunately be at the point in my carreer where I should keep secret all my art works before they get exposed. Would it not be the professional way to go?
Also, I added in the "other stuff" section a SNAP! Magazine video where I show up as a figurant. It is an old Max's video where he throws birds on electric wires in Montreal. Great.
See you and take advantage of the superb autumn, wherever you are. Do like me, go have a walk in the park in a trench-coat, a coffee in one hand, a jazz rhythm in the head. ...but put cloths under your trench-coat, I forget to do so sometimes and it is nothing good for me, or for the kids.
Peace.

Here are some photos of a collaboration with S3. We have been asked by the city of Laval to come and paint live at la Journée de la famille in the x-zone. Beautifull day, lots of fun, but only little time to work (4 hours).
Here are some pastes of Mr. Gustin and some of his little friends near the maritime path of the Saint-Laurent river: 1) on a light house! 2) on a buoy!
Here is a new promotional picture, night Sorel islands atmosphere, sweet :)
Also, S3 and me will be hitting two events within les Journées de la culture. 1) We will be in Longueuil to tag artist Stanley Février's kitchen, from september 25th to 27th , from 11 am to 3 pm. Artists from Le Zocalo art centre will show recent works also. 2) We will be at le Chat des artistes, september 25th and 26th, from 4 pm to 8 pm to paint furnitures live. This event is organised by Marie-Claude Parenteau-Leboeuf, Monde Ruelle gallery's director.
Man we have no life. Or do we? I don't know.
See ya!

Hello, here are my works from the Artiskate 2009. Check them in the "events/contests" section right here.
My cousin Peetrov Massesky is recording songs right now. He is also jamming with some friends for further shows. I think he will put the songs on a Myspace profil anytime soon. I can't wait to hear it!!
I have heard that some giant posters of Mr. Gustin and his happy monstrous friends will be pasted all around the country's streets in the next few weeks. Stay on the look out!
I am still in production for my next solo show. Some new puzzles, new flaques and new original format of works will see the light of the day at this event. I am very inspired by what I have done yet.
Some limited edition prints will be released in the next few weeks. They will be on sell at about 40$ CAN. each. I can't wait to show them to you.
See you around.

I participate to a touring show that takes place in three beautiful cities, which are Rivière-Du-Loup, Sherbrooke and Québec. Go check the information about it in the "events" section of the site. 50% of the money raised with the sells will go to the Ste-Justine Hospital Foundation.
I also up dated the "Peet's art" and "other stuff" sections of the site.
Love and wisdom, and stuff.

Hi, I would like to invite you to come and see S3, Gaston and me doing live painting at Mont Tremblant April 4th and 5th for the Telus Spin event. Gaston and me have to paint on snowboard/ski hats while S3 has to work on snowboards, hats and shoes. We will stand in the village at the bottom of the mountain from 10:30 am until 4:30 pm in the Telus tents every day. Our works will be sold on the spot.
See you there, in the sunshine!

Salute!! Me and my fellow S3 did well at the 2009 Stoneham's Snow Arto show. My snowboard won the second place, while S3's got first! Go see my facebook profile for some pictures of the event (unfortunately not so good). Here is the picture of my snowboard (check at "objects").
I also updated the "other stuff" section, which present some photoshoots and videos about me.
Love xx

Hello dear friends. I am just getting out of the high intensity of my show. So many positive reviews. That is really motivating and inspiring!
I would like the thank everybody who came to the vernissage. A big special thank to every person who bought art works. That is because of you that I can look forward to continue increasing the depth and quality of my work. Two Thumbs up for all the media involved in the event, which helped greatly the spread the news and put our names on the cultural map! (le journal Voir, Snap! magazine, Rats de ville, Média Sud, TVRS, The Montreal Gazette, and all other brochures that announced it).
The show continues until February 21st. The doors are open within these hours:
from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1:15 pm to 4:30 pm. Wednesdays until 8:30 pm. Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm.
More info at: www.sodac-info.org
Look at the promo video of the show at: http://www.vimeo.com/2388783!
Plus, Snap! Magazine produced a little video about the show. Check it out here! It looks great! Plus it is all in english! I definitely cross the local line and turn international now (even though I don't get all the stuff I say in the video). I am setting up a video about it also. But mine will be ready next month only. That is because it will look better than the Snap! one! ha. Plus I regard it as I must keep a certain DIY manner in my business (and by DIY manner, I mean, a totally more crap video than the Snap!'s).
Allllso, I did not stop working after the show. I had to paint a snowboard plus a little canvas for an exhibition that will take place at the Stoneham's Snowjamboree between February 18th and 22nd. More info concerning this event here!
All my new works will be posted after the end of the show. Until then, you can go see a photo album on my Facebook profile. Most of the new stuff is up there. Check it out!
Thanks for your concern,
Peet, Peetrov, M. Gustin and Pierre-Étienne xx

Just a quick word about a new art video that have been released by Snap! magazine. The video is about my friend and artmate Stancyl-3, who throws birds made of wood and attached by strings on electric wires here and there in the city of Montreal. The result looks like kid mobiles, but takes place outside in the city. It is very interesting. Watch it here on Snap! TV. Also, I feature a couple of time in it as the weirdo trench coat guy who holds the briefcase containing the birds. It is kind of funny.

Hello all! Yep, I will have a duo show with the multidisciplinary artist Karin Boyer at la SODAC (Société de développement des arts et de la culture de Longueuil) in January. Karin likes to question environmental issues via in situ works. For the occasion, her intervention will take place inside (or arround) la SODAC. On my side, I will question my very own self, in situ-like, within my studio's walls, and I will produce an Environ-Mental corpus of works (what?). Chimistry operates marvellously between Karin and me. This show will be exceptionnal!
I am about to finish some collaborations with S3. Robus, robust.
And finally, there are two new pieces on the site. They have been inspired by an interest that I have towards "relationship" phenomenons. Within a nature atmospher, I materialise some reflexions on politics, but mainly, I let my hands paint spontaniously the deep spiritual breath that lives inside me. Ouf.
See you soon. In the meanwhile, make the most of the wonderful automn's colors. xx

Hi sweet fans. Here is a new piece. It is the biggest one I have ever done yet. That one might be hard to sell because of the size and price, but damn it is going to explode in my futur shows. Once again, I gave it all I have.
Important news: Pierre-Étienne Massé, the shy and introspective guy who created me (Peet) is working on an other character (because I have been told that I am also some sort of a character) that will appear here and there in some of my shows. He is called Peetrov Masséski, he is my trash-emotive-comic Laval-based russian cousin. He plays the accoustic guitar and will help creating a complementary esthetic to my chiefly visual work. Therefore, he is not a metaphysical bidimentional character jailed into paintings. He is a real boy, just like me. I can't wait to get the opportunity to let him go! He's good at the guitar. He's also a really nice guy too. The only problem figures to be that he is also an other Mr. Gustin's victim. But he deals ok with it. You'll see. Some tunes on a MySpace page may appear soon or later!! Houuuu!!
Things are going great on my side. New studio, new collaborators for futur projects. I will also have cool arty t-shirts to sell here on the site, plus some other little goodies by the beginning of the fall. I am hard at work, may the result of it elevates you anyhow, so you can help elevate back my soul to a strong and positive creativity climax!
I would like to highlight the admirable, passionnate and necessary work of Amy at the Black Sheep Betty gallery. The gallery sadly closes its doors. We all wish to see Amy soon, up with an other project which will be, for sure, as much pertinent and truthful as this one was! Thank you. See you soon.

Hello. There are four new works on the site. Enjoy!

Welcome to the new voxlstudio.com! The site is going through major developments but it is working! Please enjoy navigating through it as much as I did creating it!
I have built it handled by a flow of really emotive vibrations. Just off a good swallowing brake up, I look forward for an other phase of creativity now. Thanks to everyone who supported and inspired me during this recent reflective and very constructive period. I will do my best to let this whole project generate as much love and motivation as I feel I get from my both natural and social surroundings. My art is going to be generous, just like you all are to me. Spirituality is in me. I tend to curiosity. Complex is wonderfully simple, simple becomes obviousness, and I let it be. The sun brights all over, in symbiosis with the paintable surfaces. So yea Mr. Gustin, I will get back to work!
See ya!
